oh hey Jessica! I knew that name sounded familar Dunno if you remember me, but we met at Otafest a few months back and I see that you got a Nikon D90! I just happened to find your site because I was searching for other photographers who use Nikon...it'z da best!! hehe I have a Nikon D90 myself that I use when I don't need to bring out my big cam...you've seen it.

Anyways, I see that you are rounding up some subjects to take photos of, thats a great way to get started and practice! I always enjoy helping new photographers (I know you're not new really, but new to using a DSLR) so if you ever want an on the job assistant and trainer, I've not got much booked for Sept. and I am taking a week off from work I think 2nd week (cuz I need it) then I wouldn't mind tagging along and if you want, I can even let you use some of my gear to experiment with, other lenses, light modifiers, multiple flash etc. You don't have to know how to use it, or where to place these things, I will do that for you, you just need to know how to pose the person and press the shutter, both of which you are already good at You can take wicked photos just with your D90 and lens but when you add an off camera flash or 2 and a reflector, your photos will go from good to WOW, real fast! Or you can keep it real simple because maybe you don't want to see what buying more gear will do for your photography...(its expensive) I'm not saying you have to buy a crazy expensive lens to take a great portrait, not at all, but I can show you what using an external flash and reflector can do for your photos and those you can buy when you're ready to.
